Vidic reveals he almost joined Viola before joining the Red Devils

Former defender Nemanja Vidic has revealed he almost joined Fiorentina before moving to Manchester United.

    Vidic, who retired in 2016, has reveal that he was close to joining Fiorentina and was also interested in Liverpool before eventually moving to Manchester United.

    “In life, when people start saying good things about you. People start to get interest in you,” Vidic told Sky Sports. “I had interest from Fiorentina, I agreed to go there, then Liverpool came in.”

    However, He moved to Italy after leaving Manchester United in 2014, playing for Inter Milan until 2016, where he retired after that. 

Vidic, who retired in 2016, has revealed that he was close to joining Fiorentina and is also interest in Liverpool before eventually moving to Manchester United.
